Las Cuevas Beach Lodge is a small unique hotel catering to eco-lovers and quiet type interested in local culture and cuisine. Turtle watching, bathing, diving, hiking and deep sea fishing available. Local food from fresh produce and daily caught seafood.

Sun, sand and sea with the added bonus of crystal clear rivers, deep green valleys and majestic mountains.

Las Cuevas Beach is a nesting ground for leatherback turtles. The turtle watching season runs from February to August and many adult females return to lay their eggs on the same beach where they were hatched many years ago after navigating the world's oceans. They come ashore at night and if not disturbed, will lay about 60-80 tennis ball size eggs, several times during the season.

Tours are available to observe this phenomenon of nature.
